Reel of Ra Symbols and Coin Values

The symbol set separates base-game Egyptian icons from numbered feature Coins and two special prize states. This page identifies what appears on the reels, how to distinguish symbol roles and which icons can change the mode or calculation.

Recognize the Egyptian symbol family

The ordinary reels use pyramids, falcons, scarabs, ankhs and Eye of Ra emblems. Gold frames unite the visual theme, while turquoise, red and blue details separate neighboring icons. These are matching symbols evaluated across configured routes on the five-by-three field after every spin. Their decorative size does not determine their award. The paytable connects each icon, required match count and current stake with a value, while the completed highlight identifies which visible positions formed a qualifying combination.

Identify each icon by its central object and border rather than color alone. Small screens and win glows can temporarily obscure fine details, so wait until motion stops before comparing symbols. Pyramids have a monument silhouette, falcons use a bird figure, scarabs use a beetle emblem, ankhs show the looped cross and Eye of Ra icons center on an eye shape. None of these ordinary pictures uses the narrow multiplier strip, and none should be interpreted as a printed Coin value.

Read numbered symbols as feature components

Coins use printed numbers instead of relying only on an Egyptian picture. Three or more on a base-game result trigger seven Free Spins. During that feature, regular icons leave the central field and numbered Coins become visually dominant. The mode change tells the player to stop tracing ordinary symbol routes and start collecting displayed values. Standard Coins can show 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 50 or 100, all tied to the relevant bet basis.

Eligible standard Coin values are additive before the side factor is applied. The separate strip can stop on x1, x2, x3 or x5, but those labels are not ordinary reel symbols and cannot match with a pyramid or ankh. A standard Coin marked 100 and the Mega Prize Coin both involve the number 100, yet their roles differ. Special styling and the settlement sequence identify Mega as a fixed prize, while an ordinary 100 can belong to the eligible multiplied subtotal.

Practical sequence

Three checks for identifying a symbol

1. Identify the active mode

Egyptian icons indicate base play; a numbered Coin field indicates the seven-spin value feature.

2. Read the central mark

Use the object or printed number, then check special styling to distinguish a standard 100 from the fixed Mega Coin.

3. Inspect surrounding cues

The side factor and complete field coverage are calculation signals, not additional ordinary matching symbols.

Prize cues

Distinguish Mega, Grand and the multiplier strip

The Mega Prize Coin contributes a fixed x100 and remains outside side-reel multiplication. Its special calculation role matters more than its visual prominence. Putting Mega inside an x5 subtotal would incorrectly turn it into x500. The side strip itself is a calculation indicator rather than another source of matching symbols. It modifies eligible standard Coins only after their numbers have been added, and it has no role in a regular combination of falcons, scarabs or other Egyptian icons.

Grand is a complete-field state, not one conventional symbol. When Coins cover all fifteen visible spaces, the x1,000 condition is activated and compared with the normal valid calculation. The higher result is used. Identifying a feature outcome therefore requires three separate visual checks: whether a specially treated Mega Coin is present, which factor the side strip selects and whether every central position is occupied. These cues represent fixed value, multiplication and field coverage respectively, so they should never be collapsed into one symbol category.

How can I read a Coin value?

Use its printed number and the final pay interface.
